Sipping lattes and becoming overly caffeinated at Peet’s, I became a bit brash and impulsive this past Tuesday. I had this incredible need to be a legit blogger, so I decided I had to ditch the “can i have a word with you?” extremely long blog title with unmatching URL (www.jvaron.com) and go onto the greener pastures. I brainstormed with myself, trying to think of a name. Everytime I thought of a great name, I got very excited, then Googled said name, and it was, of course taken. Or, the only URL left to use was www.blogname1245.biz. Tempting.
Finally, I settled on “intersected,” which I love so much that I keep randomly going to my blog and looking at it. I’m proud. Beaming, in fact.
However, on Tuesday, I decided I knew how to code myself (I don’t) and thought, “Oh, I can change my blog URL, Wordpress will get it.” Wordpress did not get it. I did something ridiculous (details unnecessary) and, all of a sudden, it seemed like my entire blog had vanished. I was inconsolable. Panicking. Heart racing. Tears forming. WHAT HAD I DONE!?
I quickly IMed my friend Jessica, who then sent out a PANIC TWEET to her Twitter community (much more sizable than mine). Within seconds (not minutes, not hours, not annoying automated, please press 1 for tech. support), I had about five people who wanted to help me restore my blog. A friend of Jessica’s ended up going into my hosting panel and completely restored me.
Twitter truly has become the most amazing tool. One can use it for fun. One can use it for tech support, like I did. One can use it to promote their blog, business, little Fluffy’s house broken, or what not. The microblogging platform has revolutionized the way we are communicating and I’m on board.
Twitter, 100%, saved my blog and probably saved me from going into anaphylactic shock. Wow, I spelled anaphylactic right on the first try… weird.
How are all of you using Twitter? Any great Twitter success stories?

I am creating blogs for approximately 9 months, however I cannot seem to get anyplace. I just keep using random techniques, and not using a outline or approach. I looked around and saw the technique Blogging to the Bank. I hear fantastic things about it but not certain if I am gonna get it. I am thinking of buying this new blogging system, i was just wondering if anyone had bought it before and what your perspective was with it.
