Hello. Hey. Hi. How’s it going? So, you want to know a little bit about me? Well, my name is Jamie Varon. I’m currently shackin’ up with my parents right now, since I am unemployed. I want to eventually relocate myself into San Francisco, so depending on the job situation, that could happen in a week or three months. I choose the former, but we’ll see.
I like marketing, graphic design (specifically typography and the ampersand), social media (even though the word is overused, I know it), blogging, reading, and, of course, Twitter.
Nothing makes me more happy than having a latte in a coffee shop while typing away at a blog entry. And, if a Red Velvet Cupcake is added into the mix, then my god, I am in heaven.
Oh, and I believe the only laughter worth having is the kind that hurts and makes you cry. It’s the kind that leaves you exhausted. The kind that reminds you that there is nothing in life a good dose of laughter can’t fix.
I’m an optimist right down to the core. And I’ll defend that optimism till I’m hoarse because I believe only good can come from positive thinking. Life is based solely on our attitude and I believe that it’s empowering that we are the only ones who can make ourselves happy.
When I’m not writing at this site, I’m fiddling away over at my other blog: intersected.

Nice.
Social networks are great ways to get the word out for advertising. I am also trying to work on my website to gain more traffic for gameuniverse.info

Hey Jamie!
One of my good friends sent me a link to your article (Fortune) about 2 months ago. I was also struggling with landing myself a job (or an interview actually), but after reading the article, I’ve definitely become more confident & aggressive, and I finally found myself a paid internship in the city. So I’m good for now.
I had this crazy idea of finding a job in the street by talking to people and passing out my business cards rather than through the internet (bc these employers are NEVER responsive unless you somehow get there number & call them every week or so), but I guess I was never confident enough to do so… until now. I ordered 1000 business cards and I’m hitting the street starting from next week!
You definitely gave me the encouragement to carry on with the idea & I thank you for it.
Good Luck with everything! And Happy Life!

This is the saddest thing I have ever seen. You may as well have written “Oh Hey ya’ll, I’m the laziest bitch ever” in your about me section. I can’t believe that people actually look up to this bullshit.
Perhaps, if like the rest of us, you worked for what you need/want and stop being a whiny bitch who expects everything to be handed to her on a silver platter, you wouldn’t be unemployed. Congrats.

No wonder nobody has hired you you resume says ” no work ethic or commitment to a specific company”, “I will jump ship whenever somebody offers me something better”
